Kooh Model Kit
As soon as i woke up today i went straight to work on the kooh model kit i had started the previous night. I am working on the Non-scale 001 Plum kooh model kit.
such a pretty figure!
this is my first time ever doing a model kit. I've only ever done garage kits so this was sort of different than what im used to. all the pieces were connected on one large piece that you had to clip off and snap together... sort of like legos in a way?
-luckily she came with instructions
so with the instructions the process was a whole lot easier. i didn't follow the instructions in any particular order, so the first parts I put together was her eyes, head, bangs, and back hair
after that i put her body pieces together to create her torso
i also did one of her thighs which, surprisingly, was very complicated. you cant see it but there were a lot of parts inside of the thigh i had to put together and after this i just focused on smaller, easier parts of the kit. like her spike... ball... thingy... her skirt, and both of her shoes
and thats all the progress ive done on this kit. lets move onto some of the garage kits i worked on!
HMX-12 garage kit
i did some more work on my 1/8 scale HMX-12 Multi garage kit today!
the first thing i worked on today was drilling and pinning her legs and head onto her body
i needed to see if she'd stand up without a base, and luckily she does! i have no clue where i'd even find a base, so this was good luck for me
omg haha, the angle i took this picture at makes her head look massive. I promise its not this big lol!!
if you guys remeber last time, i accidently drilled a hole into her bangs so here i fixed up the hole with some putty
Orbit Miku garage kit
A new kit i havent posted about yet! This is takezys orbit miku kit. I just love all of Takezys kits so when i saw her for auction i just had to win her!!!
now... i sort of got her without realizing just how many pieces she'd have...
she has 42 pieces! TT
-and a lot of these pieces are extremely small, so to help them not to get lost, i glued some pieces onto others.
here i glued her 3 chest pieces and... im kind of an idiot... because i glued the smaller one BEFORE doing the bigger one, so i had to glue the bigger one onto the smaller one (see right side of chest) but it sort of worked out so its fine.
i also glued her hands onto her arms
and then i got super glue on my hands so i stopped for today LOL i use this really strong super glue that dries in seconds so i should probably be using gloves when gluing but.. ehhhh...
ANYWHO! thats all for today! thx for reading my figure collection blog! ❤
